Weekly Progress #3
Late last week / early this week I finished up some reworks to pop jobs and tile features, so that now pops can clear forests, and get bonus food from working on river tiles. The "coherency limit" of tribes is now displayed, giving you a better view of where pops in a tribe can move. As the tribe moves, the coherency limit is updated.
Before starting on constructing developments I've been working on some improvements to world generation, such as adding fish and copper to the world.
And one time adding fish to deserts....
I'm also working on clearing up the transitions between biomes, smoothing out the jagged edges. This is taking longer than I'd like, but should be sorted out in the next couple days. Then it's on to tile developments.

Damn you are really smashing it here. I love this phase of earlyish development when you are coding all the core elements and working on tons of new features and stuff.
Good luck as always my friend!
Ah, coding glitches! At one point, while working on a roguelike, I forgot to restrict equipment to certain materials -- which promptly led to a leather sword appearing. Not surprisingly, it did a base of 1d0 damage!
I love bugs like that.
Ok that actually sounds really cool
