What's New
AI subs are now visibly travelling the world, creating and removing detailed simulation representations based on proximity to the player. They have a little trouble docking while the player is present, and their positions can be a little strange when you load a game nearby, but I'll iron out those issues in future patches.
Trade missions are now available in the campaign as well, and in combination with saving/loading now you can make permanent progress for the first time!
Patch Notes
- Autosave on dock
- Check last save time and show confirmation dialog when quitting.
- Save/load missions.
- UI fixes in commodity trader.
- Improvements around save file popup.
- Quick "continue" option on main menu.
- Simulation agents spawning in the world.
What's Next
In addition to ironing out some of the AI sub docking and positioning issues, the immediate next step is introducing pirates, combat, and patrol missions.
